We hear and see the words 'antique' and 'vintage' a lot, but what do they mean? Is there a difference or do they both just mean 'old'? Well, I did a bit of research and this is what I found -
An antique is something that is 100 years or older, although some antique dealers try to say 50 years or older. It is an object of considerable value for its age, aesthetic or historical significance.
A vintage item is something less than 25 year old. Many vintage items have cycled back into fashion and are used in the same way or revamped to be used in a different way.
